KASHI MIGHTY
BITES Cinnamon Cereal
No cereal is more fun than this!
Take out your bowl and have fun marching these little “bodies” right
into your milk and into your mouth. I warn you
even as an adult you can not help but march them around. Not
only are they fun, but they are packed with the powerful
cinnamon taste that leaves you satisfied when you are
done. (Not to mention that cinnamon has been shown
to help weight control and ward off diabetes). In
addition, with 3 grams of fiber and only 117 calories
per serving this is a great way to start or end your
day.

Cheerios
The first finger food for almost
every toddler in America. These perfect little circles
even have a book to accompany the meal time. Not to mention a
great campaign that boosts the cholesterol lowering
effects of eating cheerios. While we do agree
this 110 calorie cereal has almost no sugar and is
low in fat, making it heart healthy we need more evidence
to support the cholesterol claims. In fact with
just 2 grams of fiber one would need to eat about 10
bowls a day to meet the recommended daily amount of
fiber. So not so sure I want to buy into this
beyond my younger years if cholesterol is of concern.

Frosted Mini Wheats Cereal
Crisp and slightly noisy, but if you don’t mind
the crunch, this one is a winner. With a hint of sugar
on top, this cereal gives a great balance of fiber and
protein packed into your morning. Add with a glass
of milk and you are on your way to a great morning…
